Download the Kirkstall Screensaver

We have made a screen saver for Windows 95 and 98 computers which will display pictures of Kirkstall Abbey.

Instructions

  1. Click here to download (942Kb)
  2. Save the file to a directory on your computer
  3. When fully downloaded, open Windows explorer, find the directory and double click on the file kirkstall.exe
  4. You will prompted to unzip the file to your c:/windows directory. This is correct for most Windows 98 and 95 computers.
  5. When the file has unzipped, close or minimise all programs and "click" with the right mouse button anywhere on the desktop (not on a file, shortcut, or the taskbar at the bottom).
  6. Select Properties from the menu which should appear.
  7. Click on the Screen Saver tab.
  8. Select kirkstall from the drop down list
  9. Click on OK
