The Lay Bothers Dormitory was built above a storage room. The remains of the vaulted ceiling of the storage space can be seen as a series of arches along the exterior East wall of the Cloister. The floor of the dormitory collapsed under heavy snow in 1825. The remains of the dormitory were removed at a later date. |

| An interesting jigsaw infill in what was once a first floor doorway from the dormitory. It still has remains of its medieval wall-painting.
It was presumably converted into a window after the decline of lay brothers in the 15th century. |
